We are excited to announce that Alpaca Securities will be transitioning to self-clearing status at DTCC (Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation). Alpaca Securities' new DTCC number will be 3021 with APCA as the Market Participant ID (MPID).
Trading and Open Orders: Standing unexecuted open Good until canceled (GTC) orders will be canceled on April 3, 2024 starting at 4:00 PM ET. This is necessary in order to ensure open orders are routed to the correct clearing broker for settlement. You will be able to re-enter your GTC order at 11:00 PM ET on April 3, 2024. Alpaca Securities will not re-enter these orders for you. If you would like to re-enter the order you must initiate. There will be no impact to extended hours trading on April 3, 2024.
