Dear Partner, This is a notice regarding an upcoming scheduled maintenance for the Alpaca Broker API Sandbox and Dashboard environments. The Broker API will still be available in production.
The purpose of this update is to support infrastructure improvements by separating Live and Sandbox databases, helping ensure greater stability and reliability across environments.
Sandbox Maintenance Window When: Saturday, March 28, 2026 Time: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM ET Downtime: Up to 2 hours. Please note that maintenance windows are approximate. While we aim to complete work within the scheduled timeframe, maintenance may conclude earlier or occasionally extend if additional work is required to ensure system stability.
What to Expect During this maintenance window, the Broker API Sandbox and Dashboard environments will be temporarily unavailable.
As a Result: Sandbox and Dashboard services will not be accessible during the window. Any testing conducted in the Sandbox environment may result in errors.
This maintenance will not impact the Broker API production environments.
Action Required: Partner Action: No action is required from you at this time. We simply ask that you are aware of this window and prepare your internal teams for the possibility of a brief downtime.
Recommendation: Please ensure your internal teams avoid running tests in Sandbox during this maintenance window.
